About Luxe Love

Luxe Love Weddings was a fever dream of mine since 2015, when I made the decision to fully launch into the wedding industry as a photographer. I always felt excluded when researching marketing options and most vendor lists, directories, publications, etc feature brides and vendors from larger cities and metro areas. I ended up photographing more weddings in Baton Rouge, Shreveport and out of state than in my own town.

I snagged the domain, created a logo, started social media accounts, and…

Nothing.. I did nothing. Life got the best of me while working a full-time job and photographing so many beautiful weddings and events that I never published or posted anything to get started. I eventually burned out, had some health issues and settled down to start a family while focusing on marketing, content creation and branding photography for small businesses.

Until 2026. I woke up one day and asked myself why I haven’t attended a bridal show in years and found out that I wasn’t left out, our hosts retired in 2019/2020 and the events never returned. I decided it was time to fix that. Why not me? I have the event planning and trade show experience, marketing and wedding experience, and more!

So here we are. My love letter to the wedding industry of NELA. To our brides, I’m thrilled to provide a resource for our area. Hopefully, this online directory and digital publication will help you plan a magical wedding and take off a little stress. To our vendors, I hope I can help you build a better business with another avenue to market to our wonderful community, provide business support, and more.
